From New Zealand, Whittaker's has been around for over a century now. They source ingredients from all over the world and boasts of honest-to-goodness chocolate that is better than any other. With that said, Whittaker's Original Peanut Slab (₱35) is the size of outdated candy-bars - with a size about the palm of your hand and a lot thicker with what you are used to. It looks more like a gold ingot than a typical chocolate bar. However, the smell and taste of chocolate and peanuts is heavenly. Packed with whole roasted peanuts and with a hint of vanilla, there's a lot of textual interest in this. Oh, and at 33% cocoa it's just the right amount of sweetness for us too.
